Abstract With the engineering problems of traditional deep mixing techniques in China，a new T-shaped bidirectional deep mixing technique is introduced. The settlement，layered settlement，lateral deformation，excess pore water pressure and earth pressure of foundation reinforced by T-shaped bidirectional soil-cement deep mixing pile are analyzed under embankment loads. The wide application and economic benefit of T-shaped bidirectional soil-cement deep mixing pile are discussed.
