STRAIN-SPACE-BASED ELASTO-PLASTIC CONSTITUTIVE MODEL OF Q1 LOESS |

Abstract The stress-strain curves and deformation characteristics of Q1 loess achieved from the fifth tunnel of Luohuiqu are analyzed by means of conventional triaxial tests. Based on the Il¢yushin hypothesis,the strain-space-based elasto-plastic model of Q1 loess is proposed. Comparison of the experimental curve with the computational result of the model demonstrates that this model can simulate the softening and dilatancy characteristics of Q1 loess.
