BACK ANALYSIS OF 3D SEEPAGE PROBLEM AND ITS ENGINEERING APPLICATION |

Abstract A new method is proposed for the back analysis of 3D seepage problem. The variables of back analysis are determined firstly,and then the utilization of the sequential quadratic programming and high-efficient sensitivity analysis is suggested to promote the computation efficiency. The convergence of this method is very good. As an engineering example,the seepage field of Tai’an pumped-storage power station is back analyzed. In comparison with the observed values,the back analyzed results are reliable and the accuracy meets the engineering demands.
