| DISCUSSION ON COMPACTION GROUTING IN SHANGHAI AREA |

Abstract In this paper，two types of grouting methods，compaction grouting and splitting grouting，are differentiated. The analysis is made on diverse grouting methods used in Shanghai in present. The discussion is also made about the necessity of the development of compaction grouting in Shanghai and the problem that should be solved.
