Abstract The functions and structure of the database and dynamic display system are presented for shield tunneling monitoring. The functions and usage of some powerful visualized database explorers are described in detail. The system can be used in technical management and comparison analysis of construction，monitoring，supervision and designing of shield tunnel. It can greatly increase productive efficiency.
