| CONSTRUCTION AND APPLICATION OF GIS-BASED MODEL FOR SUBSIDENCE PREDICTION |

Abstract GIS raster digitized model with face element is proposed and constructed. The displacement,stress and strain can be calculated with this model for any point in any overburden layer due to mining. Finally,the visual results are presented by coupling system in the case study,which are good example for the advanced application of geomechanics coupled with GIS.
