FEM ANALYSIS ON WAVE PROPAGATION IN SOILS INDUCED
BY HIGH SPEED TRAIN LOADS |

Abstract Analysis is made on wave propagation in soils under high speed train loads by two-dimensional finite element method. The train loads are simplified and the influences of different characteristic of soils are considered. Different material parameters for various area are adopted. Then the displacement and acceleration of the ground can be obtained. The presented method applies the same velocity of loads and no change of ground in the moving load direction.
