| SOME PROBLEMS IN DESIGN OF ROCK SOCKETED PILE |

Abstract On basis of the design of rock socketed pile，some problems are discussed，concerning the design method，design standard，design parameter and the standard on loading test of pile. The study results show that the design method should be based on the bearing behaviors of pile，the design standard should be controlled by the strength and the deformation of pile foundation，and the parameter used in design should accord with the load transfer law of pile.
