| NEURAL NETWORK MODEL OF THE CONSTITUTIVE RELATIONSHIP OF CLAY UNDER MULTIPLE STRESS PATHS |

Abstract Based on the model parameter identification theory in inverse problem，a neural network model for constitutive law of clay under multiple stress paths is set up through artificial neural network. This method in modeling the constitutive relation for soil is superior to the traditional one. Not only almost all information involved in test data can be used，but also the influence of stress paths on the constitutive law for clay can be quantitatively reflected. This is significant for computer simulation of geotechnical engineering.
