STABILITY ANALYSIS OF COVER SOIL SLOPE ON WASTE LANDFILL UNDER SEEPAGE WITH LIMIT EQUILIBRIUM METHOD |

Abstract Stability analysis is made with limit equilibrium method for the cover soil slope on waste landfill under seepage. The parameters of design are correctly taken into account and it is considered that seepage reduces the interface friction angle，and water pressure at interface decreases friction force. The analysis result keeps good agreement to practical case，and it is proposed to design an adequate drainage system to decrease the water pressure at the geosynthetic interface.
