FRACTURE TOUGHNESS IN HYDRAULIC

Abstract Based on fracture mechanics and plastic mechanics，the plastic area at fracture tip in hydraulic fracture propagation is studied. The dimension of plastic area around the fracture is also quantitatively analyzed. The effect of fracture toughness in plastic area on the fracture dimension is discussed，and some relative parameters are obtained.
