Abstract The deposit thickness,water current field and wave height of Fengjie stream segment after the Three Gorges Project reservoir filling are analyzed,and three possible slope rebuilding forms are explored,i.e.,bank scour,landslide whole slip and rockmass collapse. Then,the prediction model of bank scour is established and used. The stability change regulation of typical landslides under different water level,scour,deposit and earthquake conditions are computed and analyzed. Finally,some prevention and cure measures are suggested against slope rebuilding.
