 The fuzzy evaluat ion model and relatedm at rix of boundary values are con st ruct2
ed fo r slope stab ility analysis, and the p ract ical values of the relat ive facto rs are also ob2
tained th rough the invest igat ion of engineering geo logy and the test s of physical and m e2
chan ical p ropert ies of a p ract ical slope. Thereupon, the stab ility of the slope is evaluated
by the fuzzy m ethod. The resu lt show s that the uncertain characterist ics of p ract ical slope
p rob lem s can be described mo re comp rehen sively by the m ethod and the fuzzy analysis re2
su lt is reasonab le.
