Abstract:Measured displacement time series is a combination of rock mass deformation and failure,and it has been used widely in stability analysis and predict of these rock engineering,such as slope,tunnel and underground opening etc.. Based on the measured displacement time series of rock mass,a random checking method is put forward using the substitute data produced by Fourier transformation. By this way,the limitations caused by judging whether the largest Lyapunov exponent is a negative and whether correlation dimension is an integer for chaos identification can be avoided. The application of the method of nonlinear chaos identification to the measured displacement time series of the roadway of Linglong mine and Zaolin landslide has acquired ideal results.
