Abstract:The principle and system constitution of multifunctional digital control water cutter are investigated. Experimental study is carried out on its applications to the machining of natural rock materials. The device can be widely used to cut various metal and nonmetal materials;and it can actualize special curve cutting which is difficult to machine by other traditional cutting tools. The device is characterized with convenient interactive manipulation,low pump pressure,low specific energy consumption and low cost,which will be widely applied to the cutting of natural rock materials.
