Abstract:Based on the fact that calcium carbonate(CaCO3) is dissolved and the pore is expanded in the calcareous cementitious sandstone subjected to hydrochloric acid attack;and the strength of corroded rock has the characteristics of random distribution. The method to describe rock heterogeneity is proposed by in terms of Weibull distribution function and the nonlinear elastic constitutive equation of the corroded rock is established. The homogeneity coefficient is evaluated by means of nondestructive X-ray CT scanning technique. The results indicate that the acid environment has strong influence on mechanical properties of rock.
