Abstract:Weak intercalated layers,to a large degree,affect the stability of rock mass when excavating roadways in underground engineering. According to analyzing the features of damage and separation-growing of weak intercalated layers,the exponential nonlinear damage evolution model of weak intercalated layers is proposed;and the contrast optimization of supporting is done for some roadway buried in deep mudstone with weak intercalated layers by finite element software ABAQUS. Aiming at the problem of floor heaving to a large deformation and a serious buckling deformation in the vicinity of weak intercalated layers at the initial period of roadway excavation,measures of prestressed anchor reinforcement,inverted arch excavation and backfilling and steel arch of shoring are proposed,which can restrain separation-growing or damage of weak intercalated layers and deformation of rock mass effectively. The research results can provide useful reference for some similar roadways in deep soft rock mass.
