Abstract:A full-scale test is carried out to study the ultimate bearing capacity of the shield tunnel reinforced by full-ring steel plate. The failure phenomena are described;and the load-displacement curve is obtained. The key performance point of the reinforced structure is also analyzed. The result shows that:the full-ring steel plate reinforcement can improve the structural strength and stiffness of the tunnel efficiently;the bond failure between the steel plate and the segments leads to the failure of the reinforced structure.
