Abstract：In Hobq sand land and Muus sand land of Ordos plateau and Tengger sand land and Ulanbuh sand land of Alxa plateau，the information of the aeolian sand is investigated in field. The physical and mechanical properties of specimens are tested and studied of undisturbed soil and disturbed soil. The mineral chemical composition is analyzed. According to the property of geosynthetics，the friction properties of aeolian sand and geogrid are studied，and the method for enhancing the mechanical properties of aeolian sand is put forward. Uplift properties of spread foundation of reinforced aeolian sand is studied including stress，displacement，deformation，failure mechanism and bearing capability.
