Abstract：The construction inquirements and structural arrangement of the high strength rock bolts on vertical wall are introduced during the second-stage construction of permanent shiplock of TGP. The installation procedures and technology of rock bolts under field conditions are described. The observation results from testing and monitoring show that the constructive quality of the rock bolts with high strength is good enough to effectively strengthen the rock slope along both sides of the shiplock.
