Abstract:Based on a fracture-damage model, the equivalent compliance tensor and mechanics parameters for jointed rock mass are numerically predicted, and the dam-bed-rock masses of the Three Gorges Project are analyzed by this model. The comparison of this model with the other two models, joint stiffness model and inclusion model for jointed rock mass, show a good coincidence. The results are also verified by the displacement-back-analysis in the field. The simulated parameters provide a reference for the stability analysis of the Three Gorges Project.
