Abstract:Based on the p rocedu re fo r 22D effect ive st ress dynam ic respon se analysis, a new m ethod con sidering bo th the t raveling w aves and the st ress difference is p resen ted. Detailed analyses on the tunnel 1# of Shanghai subw ay su rrounded by clay and sand respect ively is given as an examp le of the p ropo sed m ethod. In each case, differen t sect ion s, differen t direct ion s of t raveling w aves and differen t m ethods to calcu late the shear st ress are m ain ly con sidered. Th rough the calcu lat ion and analysis fo r differen t situat ion, the sign if ican t resu lt s are ob tained.
