Abstract：Aiming at the present situation of the short supply of building land，crowded builting space and the lack of green area in our cities，the directing thought is put forward to integrate the construction of hill and water city and garden city with the development and utilization of underground space. It is pointed out that the underground earth-sheltered greening building is an architectural form to be paying attention to. The main points of plan and design of underground earth-sheltered greening buildings are described.
