Abstract：For the landslide of Wuli Dam of Yangtze River in Jiangxia District，Wuhan City，factors leading to sliding are analyzed and the treatment scheme is determined by comparing different schemes. Cedar piles are chosen as anti-slide piles. The action mechanism of cedar piles is analyzed and the optimum design is proposed. The treatment result shows that cedar piles are effective in the urgent，temporary or special treatment of landslides. This technique possesses many advantages，such as low cost，quick installation and easy operation.
