Abstract：The landslide thrust is the key basis for mitigating landslide. The mechanical model of landslide thrust calculation and the expression of landslide residual thrust in different load composition are established. Based on mechanism analysis of landslide residual thrust，the function of the thrust of anti-slide pile in slope engineering is studied in detail. A method to determine the design parameters of anti-slide pile is set up，which is useful for designing and utilizing anti-slide piles.
