Abstract The m in ing p rob lem in conf ined aqu ifer is con sidered as a coup lling p rob lem betw een f low and so lid. O n the basis of differen t scales of f ractu re, the rockm ass hydrau licmodel of m in ing in conf ined aqu ifer is estab lished. Som e u sefu l conclu sion s are pu t fo rw ard to p ro ject s. A cco rding to the p ract ical p ro ject, the model and these conclu sion s are p roved to be reasonab le.
