Abstract Based on the m easu rem en t in site, the change of po re w ater p ressu re in satu rated sof t clay foundat ion imp roved by dynam ic drainage con so lidat ion is analyzed and studied. The law s of increm en t and dissipat ion of the po re w ater p ressu re are discovered. The ob tained conclu sion s p rovide som e u sefu l bases fo r engineering design and theo ret ical study of dynam ic drainage con so lidat ion.
