RESEARCH ON REINFORCEMENT SCHEME FOR XIAOWAN ABUTMENT |

Abstract Based on the fracture-damage coupled constitutive model of jointed rock mass，3-D FEM analysis on stability of Xiaowan arch dam abutment is proceeded. The distribution of stress and deformation of abutment and dam is obtained. Furthermore，the preferred reinforcement schemes of abutment are suggested according to the technical and economic feasibility.
