Abstract The settlement，lateral displacement，stress ratio of pile versus soil of three soft soil consolidation schemes of in-situ experiment using cement-mixed pile for Xiao-Yong railway embankment are analyzed. The conclusion drawn is that the short cement-mixed pile scheme is the best both in technology and economy.
