STUDY ON DAMAGE EVOLUTION OF CONCRETE
UNDER IMPACT LOAD |

Abstract A new method which could be called‘freezing in’test of damage in concrete is carried out on SHPB test system. Compared with the quasi-static test data obtained with the MTS test system，the results from SHPB test system show that the damage evolution is of close correlation with the value of strain and strain-rate. Using a fitting program，the equation of damage evolution of concrete is obtained under impact load.
