DAMAGE AND FRACTURE CRITERION FOR MODE I

Abstract Damage theory is used to the concrete fracture criterion. The boundary equations of damage zone under static and dynamic loading are obtained. The new concrete “damage-fracture criterion” is developed by the new concept of allowed damage length. The experimental results and prediction ones from the formula of damage length are in good agreement.
