PRESENT SITUATION AND FUTURE PROSPECT OF APPLICATION OF TUNNELING MACHINE TO CHINESE UNDERGROUND ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION

Abstract The application of tunneling machine to Chinese underground engineering construction is outlined，and its future prospect is forecasted in the light of the requirements for Chinese underground engineering construction in the 21st century. Further suggestion is put forward on the effective use of tunneling machine.
