Abstract Based on stability analysis methods and site survey in Jinchuan，the surrounding rocks on 1 098 m level are classified. According to present support pattern and convergence monitoring result of the roadway，the stability of roadway is evaluated. The analysis is made on the best operation time for the first supporting，second supporting and other types of supporting used for for deep roadway of deposit 2.
