FUZZY METHOD FOR THE STABILITY ANALYSIS OF CAVE ROOF UNDER PILE TIP IN KARST REGION

Abstract Based on the fuzzy sets theory,combined with the exploration data of karst of a canal-spanning bridge in Hunan province,the model of two-stage fuzzy synthetic judgment and the fuzzy limit-equilibrium-analysis model for the cave roof stability under pile tip are set up. The corresponding fuzzy sets of analysis parameters are constructed and evaluation methods are developed as well. Finally,these two methods are applied to an engineering example showing that these methods are effective for stability evaluation of cave roof under pile tip in karst region.
