| CONDITION OF STABILITY OF EXPLICIT FINITE ELEMENT STEP INTEGRAL PATTERN FOR WAVE MOTION |

Abstract The stability of two explicit finite step integral patterns are analyzed in this paper. By use of the concept that the maximum frequency of element is the supper limit of the characteristic one of system,and combining the modal analysis method,the condition of stability is obtained. At the same time,the condition is testified by the numerical calculation .
