| DISPLACEMENT PREDICTION METHOD OF SURROUNDING ROCK IN TUNNEL BASED ON BP NEURAL NETWORK |

Abstract The basic principle and steps of the artificial neural network model method are introduced;and the internal relationship between monitor data and the artificial neural network is discussed. Accordingly,a convergence displacement prediction model is set up based on BP neural network. Taking a practical engineering as an example,the displacement of tunnel surrounding rock in construction process is predicted by means of the BP neural network. The results show that the prediction values by BP neural network agree well with the measured ones,which appropriately satisfies the requests of the engineering and engineering control.
