Abstract The rock deformation characteristic and influencing factors in reservoir with abnormal high pressure were studied systematically through Wendong region core tests，such as rock mechanical property，rock deformation and percolation. The exterior condition，which refers to pressure parameter，plays an important role in rock deformation and percolation in low velocity. It includes pressure stabilization period，pressure-adding scale and repeated multiple methods. At the same time，the related mechanism discussion was conducted，and suggestion is proposed for effective development of this reservoir at last.
