Abstract Based on Hoek-Brown criterion and hypothesis of rock particles obeying Weibull random distribution,the damage parameter is modified reasonably considering the characteristic of rock post-peak softening. The three-dimensional damage constitutive model reflecting the whole process of rock fracture is established;and the test is conducted to verify the validity of model. The test results show that the model results are in good agreement with test results. On this basis,the influences of Weibull distribution parameters and Hoek-Brown criterion parameters on the rock damage constitutive model are discussed;and it will provide good reference to the engineering applications.
