Abstract At the same time of study on the 3D solid-liquid coupling experiment on mining above artesian water,the simulation testing study is made on the distribution of stresses and deformations of pillar and surrounding rock masses during mining. The influence of pillar on the stability of surrounding rock masses,and the deformation of ground surface is discussed. The main measure is put forward to solve related problem.
