DESIGN METHOD FOR SHAFT WALL STRENGTH OF COAL MINE CONSIDERING INFLUENCE OF TEMPERATURE STRESS

Abstract:Lots of fractured shaft walls are analyzed by the code method,it is indicated that the results by code method are not consistent with the realities mostly. The temperature difference can cause the changes of strain and stress of shaft wall,while the temperature stress has not been considered in the code method,which may be the key reason leading the inaccurate result of code method. So,it is necessary to modify the code method and consider the influence of temperature stress. Based on the elastic theory,the calculation formula for design strength of shaft wall considering the influence of temperature stress is proposed. The mathematic characteristics of the formula is analyzed;and its uncertainty and modified idea are investigated. Considering the complexity of shaft wall design,in order to improve the scientificalness,rationality and validity of the code method,it is advised that further research and discussion should be brought out.
