Abstract：Bioengineering techniques are used to prevent soil erosion and improve stability of slope as well as make slopes green in highway zone with mountains and hills. The effect of plants on slope protection is discussed and the plant forms are summed up. Taking the Leiyi expressway slopes as examples，the bioengineering techniques for slope protection are studied.
