SITE SELECTION OF OBSERVATION STATION for EXPANSIVE SOILS IN RAINY AND hot AREAS

Abstract:The engineering properties of expansive soils are sensitive to climatic changes. The distribution,engineering properties and local climate of expansive soils in Guangxi are summarized. Based on meteorologic factor and the results of a previous research project,site selection of observation station of expansive soils are carried out. The observation station provides a work platform for research on mechanism of engineering properties and climate changes.
