Abstract:The combined support technique of mixing pile and bolt-shotcrete in deep foundation pits is introduced. It can be used in demanding and complicated conditions. In the supporting structure system,the bolt-shotcrete is the primary load-bearing member,and the mixing pile is the secondary load-bearing member. It can be used to increase the shear strength of soils,control the deformation of soil and improve the integral stability. The calculation method for integral stability of foundation pits supported with this technique is proposed,in which mixing pile is treated as a layer of reinforced anti-sliding soil. Therefore,the integral stability can be calculated according to the computation model of the composite bolt-shotcrete support.
