Abstract:The determining of reasonable parameters of rock support parameters is very important for stability of large underground caverns and economic and effective construction. The process of determining the support parameters of underground power-house caverns of Langyashan Pumped-Storage Power Station is introduced. The method of feedback design is employed to adjust support parameters in practice according to geological conditions,field measurements and back analysis of excavation process. The proposed method works effectively in guiding the site operation and dealing with potential safety hazard,and provides basis for similar projects.
