Abstract The concep t of design ing rainfall p rocess is def ined on the basis of p robab ility analysis on the
rainfall p rocess at Huanglash i slope. The perm eance cu rve of the design ing rainfall p rocess is given. The
un satu rated and un steady seepage analysis is m ade on the slope under the condit ion of rainfall. The stab ility
of Sh iliu shubao slope is comp rehen sively evaluated con sidering variance of facto rs of rainfall p rocess,
reservo ir elevat ion and earthquake in ten sity.
