NUMERICAL MANIFOLD METHOD OF ELASTOPLASTIC ANALYSIS FOR ROCKMASS

Abstract：Numerical manifold method of elastoplastic analysis is presented by using the parametric variation principle. This method can solve the elastoplastic problem including non-associate flow. It avoids iterations at every load step. It is suitable to the elastoplastic analysis of rockmass. An example testifies the validity of the proposed approach.
