EFFECT OF WEAK INTERBED THICKNESS ON DEFORMATION MODULUS OF ROCK MASS WITH QUASI-LAMELLAR STRUCTURE

Abstract:By statistically analysing dip angle,linear density or spacing and thickness of the weak interfaces existing in quasi-lamellar structure basalt rock mass,the necessary weaking parameters of basic rock mass deformation modulus are obtained considering the effect of weak interbed thickness. Through thickness weighted average and deformation equivalence,the horizontal and vertical deformation modula of synthetic rock mass are obtained.
