Abstract：SMW retaining structure is of many good properties，such as good characteristics in watertight，simplicity in structure，quick construction，no effect on environment，low cost，and so on. According to the case of Xianhe bridge pump station in Zhenjiang，three structural analysis methods including the equivalence girder，the fixed supporting force of excavation and brace layer by layer and the elastic girder calculating method，are first introduced，and their fitness are then discussed. According to the calculating results，the fixed supporting force of excavation and brace layer by layer calculating method are comparatively suitable for practical construction.
