INTEGRATED METHOD OF GEOENGINEERING FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS SYSTEM BASED ON GIS

Abstract:GIS has been used widely in many fields because of its powerful management function about spatial information and attribute information. In fact,geoengineering finite element analysis is a process of disposing spatial information and attribute information. The merge of GIS and the finite element analysis about geoengineering is of some obvious advantages. Some problems are studied based on GIS,such as data preprocess,finite element analysis,postprocess and visualization. An example of mining subsidence calculating system based on GIS is presented.
