Abstract:Based on the results of the in-situ monitoring from the bridgehead test site of Jialichen bridge, the variation law of the settlement and pore water pressure with time in consolidation zone, and the surface settlement in influenced zone and the its influence on the building around are analyzed. The relationship between vacuum energy and the surface settlement, and the surface resilience after stopping vacuum pump are also analyzed. The results indicates that the combination of vacuum and surcharge preloading is the combination of pore water pressure difference in essence and that vacuum-surcharge preloading can greatly eliminate the surface settlement after the construction, which can function as a prevention against the problem of car leaping at bridge-head.
